NEWARK, Del.—Four runners, led by Greg Duckloe recorded top ten finishes, as Franklin & Marshall finished first in the team standings in the 8k run at Delaware on Saturday. The Diplomats finished with 38 points, 21 ahead of second place West Chester. The Diplomats competed against 11 other teams, consisting of Division I and Division II schools.
Duckloe completed the course in 27:47.05, good enough for a third-place finish. Bryan Andrews finished just behind Duckloe, recording a time of 27:48.43.
Tim Merlino and Angelo Arce rounded out the top ten for F&M, with Merlino tallying an eighth-place finish in 28:15.63, and Arce ninth with a time of 28:32.50.
Josh Wesalo (28:43.19), Luk Olenginski (29:30.82), and David Raffman (29:38.73) also recorded top 20 finished for the Diplomats.
F&M will be back in action on October 29, when the Diplomats take part in the Centennial Conference Championship at Big Spring High School. The meet begins at 11 a.m.
