HANOVER, N.H. - No. 15 Franklin & Marshall dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 8 Dartmouth in the final match of its weekend trip in women's squash action Sunday. The Diplomats fall to 4-3 with the loss, while the Big Green move to 3-1.
Seven of Dartmouth's nine points came in straight games, while F&M's Jazmin Matos and Cris Margaret Frias each pushed their opponents to four games. Matos fell 11-7, 10-12, 11-6, 11-5 to Lydie McKenzie and No. 6, and Frias was topped 11-13, 11-4, 11-7, 11-1 at No. 7 by Helena Darling.
F&M will remain idle for over a month for winter break. The Diplomats return to the court on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at Pennsylvania.
