FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Franklin & Marshall rolled to a 46-6 victory over host Sacred Heart in Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) action on Sunday. The Diplomats even their record at 2-2 with the win, while the Pioneers drop to 0-3.

The Diplomats wrapped up a busy weekend of dual meets in convincing fashion, registering two pins, a technical fall, a major decision, two decisions and three victories via forfeit for the 40-point rout.

Aaron Moldoff (125) and Richard Durso (141) delivered early pins for F&M, sandwiched by an 11-1 major decision victory by Robert Ruiz (133), to give the Diplomats a commanding 16-0 edge after just three bouts.

Andrew Murano followed with a dominating 18-1 technical fall over Matt Herbert at 149, while Rob King defeated Joseph Evangelista by a 9-2 decision at 157 to stretch F&M's lead to 24-0. At 174, Adam Schroeder topped Sam Sheppard by decision in the closest bout of the day, 8-5.

Colin Lahiff (165), Paul Alessandrini (184), and Alex Henry (285) notched wins by forfeit at their respective weights to earn an additional six points each onto the F&M total.

The Diplomats return to tournament action on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Mat-Town Invitational hosted by Lock Haven.
