LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall recorded straight-game wins at eight of nine positions to roll past visiting George Washington, 8-1, in men's squash action on Friday night. The No. 8 Diplomats move to 10-6 with the win, while the loss drops the No. 18 Colonials to 12-9.

The Diplomats cruised to victory in impressive fashion as they took down all but one of their George Washington opponents in three games, with the majority of the games resulting in convincing scores. 

Guilherme de Melo ran his team-high win total to 14 with an 11-8, 11-7, 11-6 victory over Omar Sobhy at the No. 2 spot. At the No. 3 position, Mauricio Sedano picked up an 11-2, 11-2, 11-5 win over Jose Calderon, while Alex Arjoon took down Adam Pistel at No. 4 with scores of 12-10, 11-2, 11-4.

At No. 5, Ryan Mullaney won his third straight match at 11-4, 12-10, 11-5 against Sam Ehrlich. Aadit Zaveri posted an 11-6, 11-7, 11-7 triumph over Larkin Brinkworth at No. 6, while Sujat Barua downed Player Haynes at No. 7 with a final score of 11-5, 11-5, 11-6.

Brian Henry and Pat Cunningham also posted victories for the Diplomats at No. 8 and No. 9, respectively. Henry defeated Chris Bell 11-2, 11-3, 11-7, while Cunnigham secured an 11-6, 11-4, 11-5 victory over David Moxley.

F&M returns to the court tomorrow as it hosts No. 12 Navy at 3:00 pm in the Diplomats final regular season match of the year.
