LANCASTER, Pa. – Greg Duckloe took fourth place at the Millersville/F&M Alumni Open to pace the Franklin & Marshall men's cross country team in its season-opening event on Saturday at F&M's Baker Campus. There was no team scoring in the event.
Duckloe crossed in a time of 17:03 in the 5K race, trailing only three runners at the finish line. Luk Olenginski finished 10 seconds later to take sixth, with senior Angelo Arce close behind in seventh at 17:16.
A quartet of Diplomats finished 10th through 14th; Tim Merlino (17:32), Andrew Foley (17:42.30), James Hamilton (17:42.30), and Josh Wesalo (17:45.00), while Greg Olenginski also posted a sub 18-minute time at 17:52 to grab 15th.
Mike Supron (17th/17:54), Francis Blancero (19th/18:10), and Bryan Andrews (20th/18:10.30) also registered top-20 placings for F&M.
Franklin & Marshall returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 7th for the annual Little Three Meet hosted by Gettysburg at 6:00 PM.
