Last Season – Fall Brawl
The Diplomats roll into Ursinus this weekend to compete in the Fall Brawl. Last season, F&M placed 3rd out of 15 teams with Robert Ruiz and Richard Durso earning first-place finishes.
A total of seven Diplomats placed in the top four of their respective draws in the season-opening tournament. Aaron Moldoff, Andrew Murano and Chuckie Kerkesner each claimed third-place finishes, while Rob King and Adam Schroeder nabbed fourth.
Last Time Out
F&M fell 34-4 to Army in Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) action Saturday evening at the Mayser Center. The match was the season opener for both squads as the Diplomats dropped to 0-1 while the Black Knights went to 1-0.

Richard Durso picked up the lone win for the Diplomats at 141. Durso jumped out to an early 2-1 edge in the first before adding three more in the second period for a 5-1 advantage. The junior added five back points in the final stanza and picked up one more for riding time to come away with the 11-1 major decision.

In the Rankings
Junior 141-pounder Durso ranks seventh in the nation in his weight class. In the first EIWA rankings, Durso nabbed the No. 2 spot, behind only Mike Nevinger, a senior from Cornell.
Climbing the Charts
With his 11-1 major decision win over Tyler Rauenzahn of Army on Saturday, Durso captured the 70th win of his career, moving him into a tie for 11th with Rob Nusum '90, and is now only three wins away from cracking the top 10.
