LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 6 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team continued its strong start to the season with a 7-2 win over No. 10 Dartmouth on Thursday evening at the Mayser Center. The Diplomats remained unbeaten on the year at 3-0 while the Big Green fell to 0-2.
The top two spots for F&M came away with victories after Abhishek Pradhan toppled Alexander Greer at No. 1 with a 3-1 win (11-5, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7) and Wesley "Cole" Osborne followed at No. 2 with a 3-0 sweep (12-10, 12-10, 11-3).
Pedro Veiga de Almeida was solid at the No. 5 spot with a three-game sweep (11-8, 11-4, 11-8), while Brian Henry was victorious at No. 6 with a 3-1 triumph (11-6, 11-4, 6-11, 11-2).
No. 7-8 also came out on top for the Diplomats after Ryan Mullaney outlasted Fletcher Pease at No. 7 with a 3-2 win (9-11, 11-8, 11-3, 9-11, 11-9) and Dylan Cunningham was solid at No. 8 after cruising to F&M's third sweep of the contest (11-7, 11-4, 11-3).
The Diplomats return to action on Wednesday, January 8, with an 11:00 a.m. matchup at home against Yale.
