NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 6 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team had little trouble at day two of the Yale Round Robin on Saturday afternoon, easily handling No. 17 Williams with a 9-0 sweep. The Diplomats improved to 9-2 on the season, while the Ephs fell to 8-11.
Abhishek Pradhan got the action rolling at No. 1 with an 11-7, 6-11, 11-2, 11-6 victory, while Wesley "Cole" Osborne cruised at No. 2 with an 11-9, 11-4, 11-6 sweep.
No.'s 3-8 in the F&M lineup all dominated their competition, coming away with sweeps in each of their respective matchups. Aadit Zaveri was in control at No. 9, taking his opening two games with scores of 11-6, 11-9 before Williams' Nicholas Greaves-Tunnell pulled within one off an 11-9 win in the third.
However, Zaveri finished off the matchup strong, taking the fourth game by an 11-8 score to cap off the Diplomats' sweep.
F&M looks to extend its six-match winning streak tomorrow when the Diplomats close out play at the Yale Round Robin with a contest against No. 13 Bates at 9:00 a.m.
