BALTIMORE, Md. – Franklin & Marshall fell 137-95 to Johns Hopkins in non-conference women's swimming on Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats suffered their first lost of the season and sit at 3-1, while the Blue Jays improved to 3-0.
Melissa Mullin finished first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:33.69, while Jillian Albus won the 50-yard freestyle at 29.17.
Kellen Mcdonald touched first in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:54.12, while Mullin finished second at 4:56.52.
In the 200-yard freestyle, Bridget Dromerick touched second with a time of 1:59.71,while she added another second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:16.30.
A team of Taylor Mateja, Dromerick, Breann Cavanagh, and Albus earned first-place points in the 200-yard freestyle relay, finishing in 1:44.94.
F&M returns to the pool next weekend when the Diplomats host the F&M Invitational, beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m.
