Diplomats Conclude Play at CSA's

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Brian Henry captured  his fourth-consecutive match to win out in the first round consolation final in the Molloy Cup (Men's B Division) on Sunday afternoon at the CSA Individual Championships, hosted by Penn.  

Henry rolled in his final matchup of the competition with a 3-0 sweep (11-4, 11-5, 11-7) over Max McAfferty of NYU to take the title. The junior from Penn Valley, Pa., wrapped up action with a 4-1 record at the championships.

Mauricio Sedano also concluded his season on Sunday, falling to Ahmed Hatata of Bates in the first round consolation finals of the Pool Trophy (Men's A Division). Sedano looked poised to take the championship after pulling ahead 2-0 (12-10, 11-7) however, Hatata captured the final three games (11-5, 11-7, 11-4) en route to the victory. The senior from Guatemala concluded his play at the tournament with a 3-2 record over the weekend.
