Diplomats Down Princeton and Bowdoin

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 10 men's squash team upended No. 8 Princeton by a narrow 5-4 score on Saturday afternoon, before following with a 9-0  shutout over No. 22 Bowdoin in the evening at the Mayser Center.

The Diplomats improved to 3-1 on the season with the pair of decisions, while Princeton and Bowdoin both fell to 0-1. 

By the Numbers (Princeton) 

F&M has now beat Princeton in two of the previous three matchups of the series. Prior to the Diplomats 7-2 upset in 2013, the Tigers held a 24-match winning streak over the Diplomats, dating back to the 1986-87 season.

Saturday's contest featured three matchups that went to five games, with one reaching four. Sean Kenny highlighted the action at No. 5, falling in the first two games before taking wins in the final three. Cole Osborne's sweep at No. 1 broke the 4-4 tie.
