King opened action with a dominant 16-0 tech. fall (6:56) in the 165-pound championship quarterfinals before dropping down to the wrestle backs. The senior captain followed with two wins in the consolation bracket and took third with a 4-2 decision against Rutgers' Willie Scott.

Mancini began his day with a 17-4 major decision before dropping down to consolations due to a narrow 6-4 loss in the 184-pound bracket semifinals. However, he followed with two straight wins to earn a third-place showing, finishing off his day with a 1-0 decision.

In the 285-pound bracket, Pelusi started off with a 5-2 decision in the quarterfinals before being edged out in the next round following a 3-1 loss. Last season's NCAA Qualifier won both of his consolation matches to secure third place, wrapping up action with a 3-1 decision in sudden victory.

Competing in his first collegiate competition, freshman Cole Aaron was impressive at 149, rattling off four consecutive wins in the wrestle backs before eventually falling to Rutgers Anthony Giraldo by a 4-1 decision.

A pair of the Diplomats' freshmen produced strong showings in the 157-pound consolation bracket. Emmett LiCastri captured four straight, including a pin (6:52) while Mike Berkowitz also won four in a row, including a 5-4 decision against his teammate LiCastri.

Dan Martoccio was a 4-2 sudden victory decision in the 133 wrestle backs but saw his day come to an end with a narrow 3-2 decision loss in the next round.

Paddy Quinlan won three straight bouts in the 141 consolation round, including a dominant 16-1 tech. fall (1:39). Nick Maher earned the first victory of his career win a pin at 6:02 in consolations.

In the 174-pound bracket, Reid Robilotto registered an early first-period fall (0:55) in the consolation round, while Jimmy Stillerman earned a 9-6 decision in the wrestle backs, as each earned their first collegiate win.
