LANCASTER, Pa. – Ahead by a narrow 4-3 score, Samm Fulton and Cole Osborne both registered clutch wins to deliver No. 10 Franklin & Marshall a key 6-3 victory against No. 11 George Washington on Friday evening in men's squash action at the Mayser Center.
Senior Day
Before the match, F&M honored its lone senior Pedro Veiga De Almeida. He celebrated the occasion with a dominating performance, blanking George Washington's Andres de Frutos by a 3-0 score.
By the Numbers
Both Osborne (No. 1) and Fulton (No. 6) battled back from deficits to clinch their wins. Osborne dropped his opening two games before sweeping the final three, while Fulton was behind 2-1 and took the last two.
The Diplomats have never lost to the Colonials and now hold a staggering 38-0 advantage in the all-time series, their longest such winning streak against an opponent.
