LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 11 men's squash team dropped an 8-1 loss to No. 12 Cornell on Saturday afternoon at the Mayser Center.
The defeat dropped the Diplomats' record to 7-8 on the season while the Big Red improved to 5-8.
By the Numbers
All but three matchups went past three games on the day, including three that were pushed to five. Sean Kenny earned F&M's lone win with a 3-1 decision, while Pedro Veiga De Almeida provided a valiant effort in his final career match at Mayser, but was dealt a heartbreaking 3-2 loss.
Cornell broke a gridlock in the all-time series and now lead by a narrow 29-28 margin, snapping a two-game winning streak by the Diplomats.
