AMHERST, Mass. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 13 women's squash team shutout No. 25 Colby by a 9-0 tally on Sunday, drawing a close to the Amherst Round Robin.
The Diplomats went 2-1 on the weekend to improve their record to 5-10 for the season while the Mules fell to 6-10.
By the Numbers
Each of the No. 1-4 spots in F&M's order swept their opponents in three games as F&M picked up 3-0 decisions in eight of the nine matchups. Katherine Galambos was involved in a marathon match at No. 5, overcoming an 11-7 opening-game loss to eventually pull off a 3-2 victory.
All-time against Colby, the Diplomats hold the 15-6 edge, with F&M winning four straight since the 2009-10 season.
