ITHACA, N.Y. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 16 ranked women's squash team fell to No. 8 Cornell by a 9-0 tally on Friday evening on the road.
The loss dropped the Diplomats' record to 5-11 on the year while the Big Red improved to 6-2.
By the Numbers
Sherilyn Yang (No. 2) provided F&M with the team's most competitive match of the contest, battling back from a 2-0 deficit to force a fifth game. Yang ultimately came up short with an 11-6 loss in the decisive final frame.
Seven of the nine matchups were decided in three games with Lauren Johnston battling at No. 3 but falling 3-1. The overall series now belongs to Cornell with a narrow 12-11 all-time edge.
