MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's men's cross country team claimed the team title at the Battle for the Buggy hosted by Millersville on Saturday morning. The Diplomats had 16 points followed by Chestnut Hill (22), Lancaster Bible and PSU-Berks.
The finish came from a pack of F&M runners that finished 6th through 8th. Spencer Lyman led the pack at 28:58, Pat Manion came in with a 29:26 and Matt Krogstad turned in a 29:42.
Alex Fiori (30:18) and Ryan Kiger (30:21) finished 11th and 12th respectively and Ben Kotran along with Noah Yadgaroff also figured into the scoring with times of 31:17 and 32:03.
F&M returns to action next Saturday at the Alvernia Invitational.
