MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Sanjay Jeeva's 3-1 victory at the No. 1 spot sealed a thrilling 5-4 victory for Franklin & Marshall's No. 16 men's squash team over No. 19 Middlebury on Saturday afternoon. Later in the evening, the Diplomats fell to No. 15 Cornell by a heartbreaking 5-4 score to finish at 1-1 on the day.

With the pair of decisions, the Diplomats moved to 2-8 on the year. 

By the Numbers (Middlebury) 

F&M dominated the top half of the ladder with wins in each of the No. 1-5 positions. Four contests on the afternoon went to four games, while five matchups were decided in three-game sweeps. 

With the win, the Diplomats improved to 8-0 all-time against the Panthers.

The Diplomats were once again strong at the top of the order with four wins in the top six positions. Only three of the nine matchups resulted in a three-game sweep with four matches going the full five frames. F&M was 3-1 in contests that went the distance. 

Yannis Senkel rolled to a three-game sweep at No. 3 while Samm Fulton battled back from a 2-1 deficit to secure wins in the last two frames.
