LEWISTOWN, Maine – The No. 18 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team dropped a 7-2 contest to No. 20 Bates before responding with a narrow 5-4 win over No. 24 Colby on Saturday afternoon in Maine. 

The 1-1 split brought the Diplomats' record to 3-10 on the season.

F&M found success at the top of the order with both of its wins occurring at No. 1 and No. 3. Five of the nine contests were decided in more than three games, including Sanjay Jeeva's marathon 3-2 victory at No. 1.

By the Numbers (Colby) 

Each of the No.'s 1-5 positions on the ladder went the Diplomats way against Colby, while the Mules won each of the bottom four matchups. Four of F&M's wins were the result of three-game sweeps, while Boden Polikoff (No. 5) came back from a 1-0 deficit to win three straight frames. 

The Diplomats have now won 13 consecutive matches against Colby and lead the all-time series by a staggering 18-1 margin.
