LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 19 men's squash team closed out the 2017-18 regular season with a 9-0 loss to No. 16 Navy at home on Sunday.

The Diplomats fell to 3-14 on the year while the Mids improved to 16-8.

By the Numbers 

Only two of the nine matchups were decided by three games. F&M's Silvio Soom forced his contest at No. 2 to go the distance, battling back from a 2-1 deficit with an 11-8 win in the fourth. However, Navy's Michael Kacergis earned the 11-2 win in the decisive fifth frame. 

Sanjay Jeeva (No. 1), Boden Polikoff (No. 5) and Frank Murray (No. 8) each jumped out to 1-0 leads with opening-game wins before falling in the final three frames of their respective matchups.
