LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 18 men's squash team fell to No. 10 George Washington by a 9-0 score at home on Saturday afternoon.
With the defeat, the Diplomats fell to 3-11 on the year while the Colonials improved to Colonials improved to 11-6.
By the Numbers
F&M forced more than three games in each of the first three matchups on the ladder but was unable to generate a victory on the day. Silvio Soom battled at No. 2 in a five-frame showdown with Jamie Oakley. After securing the first game at 11-7, Soom dropped the next two before pushing for a fifth with an 11-2 win. However, Soom was edged by an 11-9 score in the decisive fifth frame.
