BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Franklin & Marshall is set to compete at this weekend's Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) DI Championships, hosted by Binghamton on Friday and Saturday.
The Diplomats enter the Tournament with the goal of automatically qualifying members of their team for the NCAA Championships for the second straight year. F&M will be led by two-time NCAA Qualifier Antonio Pelusi (285 pounds) who claimed fifth at last year's EIWAs.

A Look at the EIWA's
This year's 115th EIWA Championships are being hosted by Binghamton University at the Binghamton University Events Center in New York. F&M has found success at the tournament throughout its illustrious history, producing 105 place winners and 10 EIWA Champions.

Lehigh broke up Cornell's run of 11 consecutive team titles last year with its first Championship since 2006 and the program's 35thoverall Title.

NCAA DI Qualifier Allocations
The NCAA announced the automatic qualifier allocations for the 2019 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, with the EIWA receiving a total of 47 spots, third only to the Big Ten (78) and Big 12 (53).

At-Large Announcement
After all of the qualifying events have concluded, the NCAA Division I Wrestling Committee will meet in-person to select the remaining 44 at-large qualifiers, which will be announced on Tuesday, March 12, while brackets and seeding will be announced on NCAA.com at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13.
At-Large Selection Eligibility (Bronze Standard): Must meet two of the criteria.

- Top 33 RPI Ranking
- .700 Overall Winning Percentage
- .700 Division I Winning Percentage at the Weight Class
- Qualifying event placement one below AQ
- One win against a wrestler receiving AQ via an earned position (pre-allocated)
Last Year's EIWAs
Antonio Pelusi went 4-2 at the 2018 EIWA Championships to claim fifth-place in the 285-pound bracket and punch his ticket to the NCAA Tournament. F&M finished with 17.5 team points to place 15th out of 16 teams. Overall, Pelusi was one of four Diplomats to secure a win during the EIWA Championships with Brett Kulp (141 pounds), Emmett LiCastri (157 pounds) and Josh Young (174 pounds) all claiming consolation-round wins on Saturday. Record Book Watch
Antonio Pelusi enters the week with an 82-50 record for his career, which places sixth on F&M's all-time list. Paddy Quinlan (66-53) continues to move up the ranks as well and now sits in 17th, while Anthony Mancini (56-54) places 27th. Rick Durso '16 leads the Diplomats with a 145-38 career mark.
Quinlan is 10th all-time with 22 career pins. Justin Herbert '09 tops that category with 35.
Wins Leaders
Wil Gil (25-10) paces the Diplomats in wins, followed by Antonio Pelusi (24-6). Philip Robilotto (20-12) and Emmett LiCastri (19-11) are close behind, while Paddy Quinlan (17-12), Cole Aaron (11-11), and Crew Fullerton (10-18) have also reached double-digits for F&M. Prolific Win
The Diplomats' dominant 35-4 dual win over Davidson on Jan. 4 marked the team's largest margin of victory over an opponent since a 41-3 stomping of Millersville in February of 2014.
Historic Showing at Lehman Open
Four Diplomat wrestlers placed at the David H. Lehman F&M Open on Jan. 5 - the most ever for the Diplomats at their home tournament. Paddy Quinlan (141) and Antonio Pelusi (285) led the way with second-place showings while Wil Gil claimed sixth at 141 and Emmett LiCastri secured fourth at 157.
