LEWISTON, Maine – Franklin & Marshall's No. 18 ranked women's squash team battled throughout the ladder but ultimately fell to No. 15 Bates by an 8-1 tally on the road Saturday.
The Diplomats dropped to 6-6 on the year while the Bobcats improved to 10-3.

Katherine Galambos claimed F&M's lone win in the order with back-and-fourth 3-2 triumph at No. 4. Emily Bartos was involved in a marathon first frame at No. 3 and came away with a 20-18 win before falling short in her next three games.
