WASHINGTON, D.C. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 14 ranked men's squash team went 2-0 at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Championships in Washington, D.C. to advance into tomorrow's Championship contest.
The Diplomats, who moved to 16-4 overall with the pair of results, upended No. 17 MIT late Friday evening before upsetting No. 6 Drexel by a narrow 5-4 victory on Saturday.
The seven-team bracket features Drexel, George Washington, Virginia, MIT, Navy, and Dickinson.

F&M defeated MIT for the second time this season. The Diplomats picked up four sweeps on the ladder. Flavio Hinostroza finished off his 3-0 triumph at No. 8 with a marathon 15-13 win in the final frame.

Four of F&M's five wins were the result of 3-0 sweeps. Hinostroza dropped a 12-10 frame in his opening game at No. 8 before rebounding with three consecutive wins. He concluded the win with a 13-11 victory in the fourth.
Teddy Eill improved his incredible win streak to 15-consecutive matches with an 11-6, 11-8, 11-5 blanking at No. 7.
The win over Drexel snapped a four-match losing streak in the series and avenged a 9-0 defeat earlier in the season.
