GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team pushed the preseason favorite Gettysburg Bullets to their limit on Saturday afternoon, falling just short in a 135-125 loss in Centennial Conference (CC) action.
Georgia May had an excellent day in the long distance freestyle events, finishing in first in both the 500-yard Freestyle and 1000-yard Freestyle.
Sophie Moyer also had a strong performance - picking up wins in both the 100-yard Breaststroke and 200-yard Freestyle Relay. Helen Lahmann-Metcalfe joined her in the relay victory, while picking up a 50-yard Freestyle win as well.
Catherine Crampton finished her first winning race as a Diplomat, winning the 200-yard IM.
