NEWVILLE, Pa-- Franklin & Marshall men's cross country team placed 14th overall out of 31 teams at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships on Saturday morning. F&M improved their 18th finishing position from the 2019 race. The Diplomats scored 376 points overall as a team. 

Bennett Wasch was the first Diplomat to complete the course, placing 45th place with a time of 28:19.8, improving his placement from the 2019 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships by 172 places. Among the top 100 F&M finishers of the race were Alex Fillman in 62nd (28:41.7), Alfonso Knoll in 83rd (29:05.4), Alex Miller in 93rd (29:18.3), and Connor Ashnault in 96th (29:25.0). 

Knoll and Miller made their NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships debut in the Saturday competition.

F&M's other two runners competing were Mike Maglione ending the course in 29.59.8 placing in 117th and Sam Eisner landing in 135th place with a time of 30:26.2 who competed in his first NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships race.
