LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall wrestling team has annually challenged itself against some of the nation's top teams at the historic Midlands Championships just outside of Chicago. Although the Midlands were recently canceled, F&M and many of the teams slated to compete in that tournament will now take part in the Matmen Open. This tournament is sure to test the Diplomats against some of the top wrestlers from across the country in addition to some postgraduate entrants who will be scattered throughout the open field.

Fortunately for the Diplomats, they will not have to change their travel plans but will now be coming with a larger contingent ready to test their mettle as the Matmen Open will still be held inside the NOW Arena on Wednesday, December 29 and Thursday, December 30 – the same time and location that the Midlands was scheduled for.
