LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's squash team picked up its first win of the season as they defeated Dickinson, 9-0, Friday evening.
Six Diplomats performed shutout sweeps as Petr Nohel, Marco DiFilippo, Teddy Eill, Noah Katzer, Samuel Freed, and Evann Tan all blanked their opponents.
Nohel won his match 11-4, 11-6, 11-6. DiFilippo downed his opponent on an 11-1, 11-2, 11-2 sweep. Eill won 11-8, 11-2, and 11-4 in his match. Katzer secured a 11-5, 11-9, 11-8 win over his competitor. Freed swept his match 16-14, 11-2, 11-7. Evann Tan took down his opponent 11-7, 11-6, 11-4.
F&M earned its first sweep of the night in the very first match of the evening. The second and third matches went four games, but F&M outlasted Dickinson to win both frames. The Diplomats went on to sweep the next five matches to solidify the victory against the Red Devils.

Franklin & Marshall looks to continue rolling in the Penn Cup, when it takes on Penn Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Mayser Squash Courts.
