PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team rolled to a 7-2 victory over No. 23 Dickinson Saturday morning in the semifinal round of the Walker Cup Consolation Bracket at the CSA Team Championships, hosted by Penn.
F&M started the match off hot, picking up 3-0 sweeps from Audrey Berling (No. 1), Gurlin Kaur (No. 2), Aryaa Ogale (No. 3), and Zarine Gidwaney (No. 4). Zoe Quayle later tallied a sweep over her opponent in the No. 6 slot to claim her eleventh victory of the season.
Cate Costin (No. 5) and Iman Jaikishan (No. 7) each earned 3-1 wins over their respective opponents. Costin led 2-1 before winning the fourth game, 11-5, to claim her sixth win of the season. Jaikishan found herself tied, 1-1, with her opposition. The junior won the next two games, 11-6 and 11-7, to also earn her sixth victory of the year.
