HARTFORD, Conn. – The No. 16 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team lost 6-3 to No. 11 Chatham on the final day of the CSA Championships Sunday morning.
Marco DiFilippo claimed his 11th win of the season as he swept his opponent, 3-0, in the No. 3 slot. Kyle Broadhurst earned his 13th victory of the year by outlasting his foe, 3-1, in the No. 2 slot. Broadhurst and his opponent were tied at 1-all before the first-year winning the next two games 11-8 and 11-5. Petr Nohel won a five-game battle, 3-2, in the No. 1 slot after facing a 2-1 deficit. Nohel took the fourth game, 11-7, before claiming the fifth, 12-10, for his 12th victory of the season.
Chatham fought off Noah Katzer (No. 7) and Evann Tan (No. 9) as both Diplomats got off to an early 1-0 lead, but fell in the following three games to drop their respective duals.
