CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team dropped its opening match of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championship to No. 4 Drexel, 9-0, Friday afternoon on the campus of the University of Virginia.
Drexel put the pressure on F&M early and often as the Dragons swept the Diplomats in eight of the nine slots. Aryaa Ogale (No. 3) had her four-match winning streak snapped, but avoided getting swept despite a two-game deficit. Ogale earned a hard-fought 11-9 victory in the third game, but couldn't hold her opponent off in the fourth.
