CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team battled No. 18 Georgetown to the end, but was edged 5-4 on the second day of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships Saturday afternoon.
Audrey Berling picked up her eighth win and fourth sweep of the 2022-23 campaign as she cruised to a 3-0 win out of the No. 1 slot. Gabby Ramos earned her fourth win of the season out of the No. 7 slot as she downed her opponent, 3-1. Aryaa Ogale (No. 3) and Zarine Gidwaney (No. 4) both earned huge wins as they held off their opponents, 3-2. Down by two games, Ogale fought back to win three straight games to earn the victory. Gidwaney found herself tied 2-2 in her matchup, but she battled to win the fifth game 11-5.
