PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Petr Nohel (No. 4 seed) of the Franklin & Marshall men's squash team was defeated in his semifinal match of the Molloy Cup – West bracket, 3-0, to Rochester's Abdelrahman Lasheen (No. 1 seed) Saturday afternoon at the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships.
Nohel battled in the first game as the competitors were deadlocked at 12-all. Abdelrahman managed to pull away from Nohel as he claimed the first game, 14-12.
The No. 1 seed from Rochester created more separation and solidified his spot in the Molloy Cup – West finals by winning the second and third games 11-3 and 11-2, respectively.
Nohel's run in the CSA Individual Championships as he concludes the tournament with a record of 2-1.
