No. 19 Men's Squash Overpowers No. 30 Connecticut College, 9-0

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team shined in its first home match of 2024 as the Diplomats swept No. 30 Connecticut College, 9-0, Sunday afternoon. F&M improves its record to 7-6, while Conn moves to 4-7 on the season.

The Diplomats cruised through the individual matches with the hosts sweeping eight of the nine matchups. Sharan Punjabi (No. 2) and Jordan Sprecher (No. 3) each improved their win total to a team-leading nine individual victories this season. Punjabi downed his opponent, 3-1, while Sprecher claimed a sweep against the Camels. Kyle Broadhurst (No. 1) and Noah Katzer (No. 4) each tallied their eighth win of the year with both Diplomats sweeping their respective matches.

Sam Freed claimed his sixth win of the 2023-24 campaign as he cruised to a sweep in the No. 5 slot. Evann Tan (No. 6) earned his fifth victory of the season, while Juan Hinostroza (No. 7) picked up his fourth win of the winter. Blake Newcomer (No. 9) brings his win total to three, while Hunar Kohli (No. 8) earned his second victory this year.

Franklin & Marshall now prepares to face No. 26 Bowdoin on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Mayser Center Squash Courts.
