LANCASTER, Pa. - With seven seniors competing in their final home meet, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Swimming team was downed by Johns Hopkins 97-9. The seven seniors included
Sophie Bergstrom,
Calianne Keane,
Helen Lahmann-Metcalfe,
Jennifer Leigh,
Claire McQuade,
Kate Posner and
Maggie Sjostedt.
The most successful event of the day for the Diplomats was the 200-yard butterfly, in which
Maddie Mealey and
Ruhbani Sidhu helped claim three total points, finishing second and third, respectively.
F&M also registered a pair of third place finishes in the four relay races, coming in the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay. The team of
Rachel Baker,
Sophie Moyer,
Caitlin Barr and Lahmann-Metcalfe finished third in the 200-yard medley relay, while
Matti Harvey, Moyer, Lahmann-Metcalfe and Baker placed third in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
