ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The No. 23 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team was defeated on the road, 7-2, by No. 15 Georgetown Sunday afternoon. The Diplomats earned wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 slots, but was held off in each of the remaining matches. F&M falls to 4-10 this season, while the Hoyas improve to 7-5.
Aryaa Ogale earned her second win of the weekend and seventh victory of the season in the No. 2 slot as she downed her opponent, 3-1. Tied at 1-1, Ogale won 11-7 and 12-10 to power past the Hoya.
Cate Costin claimed her sixth victory of the season with a 3-1 win in the No. 3 slot. Costin led 2-1 in her match when she nabbed an 11-5 victory in the fourth game to hold onto the win.
Franklin & Marshall now heads to Geneva, New York on Saturday to take on No. 17 William Smith at noon.
