GENEVA, N.Y. – The No. 18 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team claimed its 10th win of the season with an 8-1 victory over No. 20 Hobart on the road in Saturday afternoon's matchup. The Diplomats boost their overall record to 10-7, while the Statesmen drop to 5-8 on the year.
Jordan Sprecher (No. 4) earned his team-leading 12th win of the season with a 3-0 sweep over his opponent. Sprecher showcased scores of 11-9, 12-10, and 14-10 to pick up his seventh sweep of the year.
Kyle Broadhurst (No. 1) and
Noah Katzer (No. 5) each claimed their 11th individual wins of the season. Broadhurst downed his opponent, 3-1, while Katzer swept the Statesmen, 3-0.
Marco DiFilippo tallied his 10th win of the winter with a 3-1 victory in the No. 3 slot. DiFilippo faced a 1-0 deficit, but won three-straight games to outlast his opponent.
Sam Freed brought his season-win total to nine with a 3-1 victory in the No. 6 slot. Following Freed,
Evann Tan swept his opponent in the No. 7 slot for his eighth individual victory of the year.
Juan Hinostroza won two-straight games to finish off a 3-1 win in the No. 8 slot for his fifth victory of the season.
Hunar Kohli swept the Statesmen in the No. 9 slot for his fourth individual win of the year.
Franklin & Marshall continues its stretch of road games when it travels to face No. 23 Saint Lawrence on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
