AMHERST, Mass. – The No. 23 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team was defeated on the road at No. 13 Amherst, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon.
The Diplomats competed hard throughout the day, but the Mammoths stood tall as the hosts swept F&M through the bottom six slots.
Aryaa Ogale (No. 2) and
Cate Costin (No. 3) claimed a game during their respective matches, but couldn't overtake their opponent – each falling 3-1.
Gurlin Kaur faced a 1-0 deficit in the No. 1 slot, but battled back to lead 2-1 in the match. However, she couldn't hold on as she was defeated 3-2.
No. 23 Franklin & Marshall now heads to Middlebury to face the No. 16 Panthers Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
