Lancaster, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming swimming team dropped its first dual meet of the season, falling to Gettysburg 180.5-79.5 on Friday night at the Kunkel Aquatic Center. The team totaled three event wins and ten top-three finishes overall.

In the final event of the night, Madi Bickford, Erin Suter, Sophie Moyer, and Rachel Baker earned an event win in the 200 freestyle relay.

Bickford dominated the short freestyle events, winning both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. 

Georgia May and Ava Tseng each earned a pair of top-three's. May was second in the 500 freestyle and third in the 1000 freestyle, while Tseng was second in the 200 freestyle and third in the 500 freestyle.

The Diplomats host non-conference opponents Mary Washington on Saturday, November 2, at 12:00 pm.
