PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The No. 13 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (3-1) earned a pair of wins on Saturday, starting with a 6-3 win against No. 21 Chatham (2-1) before ending the day with a 9-0 win against No. 28 Dickinson (2-4).
Kyle Broadhurst came from behind twice in his No. 1 slot match against Chatham, claiming the fifth game 11-3 to earn the win. Sharan Punjabi (No. 3), Aditya Chandani (No. 6), Sam Freed (No. 8) and Evann Tan (No. 3) each swept their opponent from Chatham, while Jordan Sprecher won in the No. 4 match in four games.
Seven of the nine match wins over Dickinson came in three games, while Broadhurst (No. 1) and Akshat Agarwal (No. 7) each won in four games after dropping the first.
Through the first four matches of the 2024-25 season, Broadhurst, Punjabi, Sprecher, Chandani, and Tan each have totaled three wins.
The Diplomats wrap up a busy weekend with two more matches in Philadelphia tomorrow. They'll start off against No. 30 Haverford at 9:00 a.m before facing No. 7 Drexel at 1:00 p.m.
