LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team (3-2, 3-1 CC) fell in non-conference competition to Mary Washington 195-63 on Saturday afternoon. The team claimed 11 top-three finishes and an event win.

Madi Bickford took the Diplomats' lone win of the meet in the 100 freestyle, while she finished in second place in the 50 freestyle. 

Catherine Crampton claimed silver in two events as an individual including the 200 breaststroke and 200 IM. 

Georgia May also claimed silver twice, finishing runner-up in the 500 freestyle and 1000 freestyle.

The team of Sophie Bergstorm, Crampton, Caitlin Barr, and Bickford earned silver in the 400 IM medley, while Kala Zingle, Bickford, Barr, and Matti Harvey were third in the 400 freestyle relay. 

Other individual top threes included second for Bergstrom in the 100 backstroke, second for Ava Tseng in the 200 freestyle, and third for Barr in the 100 freestyle.

The Diplomats will travel for the first time this season to Centennial Conference opponents Bryn Mawr on Saturday, November 9, at 1:00 p.m.
