PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The No. 21 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team was defeated in its final match of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championships by Dickinson, 9-0, Sunday afternoon at the Klein & Specter Squash Center. The Red Devils were relentless throughout the competition – sweeping the Diplomats in seven of the nine individual matches.

Zarine Gidwaney overcame a 1-0 deficit with wins of 11-6 and 11-9 to hold a lead in the No. 4 slot. However, Gidwaney's opponent tallied wins of 13-11 and 11-9 to claim the match, 3-2. Tatum Long (No. 6) also saw her bout go the distance after jumping out to a 2-0 lead with 11-9 and 11-7 victories in the first two games. Despite the hot start, Long's opponent earned three-straight victories to outlast the first-year Diplomat.

Franklin & Marshall now sets its sights on competing in the CSA Team National Championships beginning on Friday.
