No. 22 Women's Squash Advances to Walker Cup Final with 5-4 Win Over No. 23 Chatham

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The No. 22 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team claimed a 5-4 victory over No. 23 Chatham in Saturday afternoon's Walker Cup semifinal matchup at the CSA Team National Championships. F&M improves to 8-14 overall, while Chatham falls to 4-8 this season.

The Diplomats saw its top-two and lower-three earn big wins in their respective matches to advance F&M to the Walker Cup finals. The match was decided by the No. 1 match as Gurlin Kaur held off her opponent, 3-2, for her seventh win of the year. Aryaa Ogale also outlasted her opponent, 3-2, in the No. 2 slot for her team-leading 13th victory of the season. Iman Jaikishan swept her opponent, 3-0, in the No. 7 slot for her seventh-individual win of the year. Ana Petrosky cruised through the No. 9 match with a sweep over her opponent for her fifth win this winter. Joey Ho was the third Diplomat to claim a sweep in their individual matches as the first-year earned her fourth victory this season.

Franklin & Marshall moves onto the Walker Cup finals on Sunday, where it will face No. 21 Wesleyan at 9:00 a.m.
