CARLISLE, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's cross country team competed for the second consecutive week as the Diplomats raced in the Little 3 Championship on Friday evening. F&M took third with a score of 73, competing alongside Dickinson who won the event with a perfect score while Gettysburg finished in second place as a team (56 points).

Owen McCann was the top finisher for the Diplomats as he placed 15th with a time of 16:42.0. First-year Sean Gorman joined his teammate among the top 20 finishers as he placed 19th with a time of 16:56.2.

Seven more Diplomats broke the 18-minute mark, including Seamus Downey (17:07.2), Tommy Tapino (17:23.9), Zach Houff (17:29.8), Cole Smith (17:32.1), Addison Neuen (17:35.3), Aiden Cotter (17:39.3), and Holden Brown (17:41.3). A total of 11 Diplomats took to the starting line with George Williams (18:14.9), Andrew Li (18:15.5), and Habibullah Oberoi (18:39.8) taking to the starting line for Franklin & Marshall.

With two races during its first two weekends of their competition season, the Diplomats will now have nearly a month of training as they get set for the second half of the fall. When F&M does return to live action, it will do so at the prestigious Paul Short Invitational which will be held on Saturday, October 5 at Lehigh.
