No. 13 Men's Squash Held Off by No. 11 Williams

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 13 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (4-3) was edged, 5-4, by No. 11 Williams (3-3) in its first match of 2025 Friday evening at the Mayser Center Squash Courts. The contest came down to the wire with the final match of the day coming in the No. 2 slot. Williams' Nick Agger was able to hold off F&M's Marco DiFilippo in a five-game thriller to give the Ephs the win.

Sharan Punjabi outlasted his opponent in five games in the No. 3 slot to pick up his fifth win of the season. Tied up at 2-2, Punjabi overpowered Williams by taking the fifth game 13-11 to claim the win. Aditya Chandani also claimed his fifth victory of the year as he swept his opponent, 11-8, 12-10, 11-5, in the No. 5 slot.

Kyle Broadhurst rolled past his opponent in the No. 1 slot, 3-1, to get the Diplomats on the scoreboard. After dropping the first game, Broadhurst won the next three, 11-2, 11-6, 11-2, to tally his fourth victory of the season. Alexander Arader earned his third win of the winter by sweeping his opponent in the No. 6 slot.

No 13 Franklin & Marshall returns to the Mayser Center Squash Courts on Saturday to host No. 17 Amherst at 4:00 p.m.
