LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall softball coach Kaitlyn Cooper has announced that she is stepping down as head coach of the Diplomats to pursue other professional opportunities outside of athletics.

Originally named the team's head coach in the fall of 2022, Cooper mentored 28 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athletes during her time in Lancaster while numerous other players were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Cooper led the Diplomats to 22 victories on the field and additionally received the NFCA Leadership & Physiology award during the 2022 season.
