LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 27 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (2-2) eased past No. 28 Haverford (1-3), 8-1, Sunday morning to conclude the Penn Cup. F&M swept seven matches on the day to earn its second victory in a row.
Ashanti Amastal started the day with a 3-1 win in the No. 1 slot to pick up her first win of the season.
Rory Dasher followed with her first win of the year as she defeated her opponent, 3-0, in the No. 2 slot.
Mia Todd (No. 3) downed her opponent, 3-0, before
Noelle Bardorf earned a sweep in the No. 4 match to extend the F&M lead.
Joey Ho (No. 5),
Lavanya Seshasayee (No. 6),
Elisabeth Stout (No. 7), and
Destiny Ponce (No. 8) all swept their respective opponents to secure the victory over the Fords.
No. 27 Franklin & Marshall looks to extend its winning streak when it hosts No. 24 Bates on Saturday at noon.
