No. 16 Men's Squash Rolls Past No. 22 Bates, 9-0

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 16 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (3-2) earned a dominant 9-0 sweep over No. 22 Bates (0-1) Saturday afternoon for the Diplomats' second sweep in a row. F&M also extended its winning streak to four matches with the win over the Bobcats.

Kyle Broadhurst (No. 1) started the day by taking down his opponent, 11-9, 11-2, 11-7, to pick up his fourth win of the season. Sharan Punjabi (No. 2) controlled his match, 11-5, 11-6, 11-6, followed by Toby Clegg-Petri (No. 3) downing his opponent, 11-3, 11-3, 11-2. Aditya Chandani (No. 4) eased past his opponent, 11-1, 11-6, 11-4, before Noah Katzer (No. 5) overpowered his matchup, 11-7, 11-3, 13-11. Jamie Stait battled in the No. 6 slot by earning a four-game win, 12-14, 11-7, 11-6, 11-5. Dean Vahlsing (No. 7) and Eeshan Sawant (No. 8) also came out on top of four-game matches with both players continuing their individual winning streaks. Teerth Jilka secured the match sweep for the Diplomats in the No. 9 slot, defeating his opponent, 11-1, 11-2, 11-7. Aryan Tibrawalla (No. 10) also earned a 3-0 win in the exhibition match with a final tally of 11-7, 11-5, 11-3.

No. 16 Franklin & Marshall wraps up 2025 with a home match against No. 21 Bowdoin on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
