LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team (5-5, 5-2 Centennial) earned one event win and seven top-three results in Saturday's 198.5-62.5 loss to defending Centennial Conference Champions Swarthmore (10-0, 7-0 Centennial) on Saturday.
Prior to the meet, Rachel Baker, Sophie Bergstrom, Catherine Crampton, Stephanie Dolan, Katarina Dominguez, Georgia May, Claire McQuade, Sophie Moyer, and Ruhbani Sidhu were recognized as part of the program's Senior Day.
The Diplomats kicked off the meet with the team's lone victory in the 200 medley relay, as the team of Bergstorm, Crampton, Caitlin Barr, and Madi Bickford earned the win in 1.50.87.
Bickford found the most success individually, as she earned bronze in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.Â
Barr tied for second in the 50 butterfly, while Bergstorm was second in the 200 IM.
Baker (50 backstroke) and Riley Reader (50 breaststroke) also earned third place results.
The Diplomats finalize Centennial Conference Championship preparations as they host the Franklin & Marshall Spring Invitational on Friday, February 7, and Saturday, February 8.
