No. 15 Men's Squash Takes Down No. 23 Saint Lawrence, 8-1, on Senior Day

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 15 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (13-6) concluded its regular season with an 8-1 win over No. 23 Saint Lawrence Sunday afternoon at the Mayser Center Squash Courts. The Diplomats dropped the No. 1 match, but swept the last eight to pick up their 13th win of the season.

Before the match, the F&M men's squash team honored its five seniors during a Senior Day ceremony. Those seniors included Marco DiFilippo, Sam Freed, Juan Hinostroza, Jordan Sprecher and Evann Tan.

Sharan Punjabi and DiFilippo got the Diplomats on the scoreboard with 3-0 victories in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. Sprecher (No. 4), Freed (No. 7) and Tan (No. 9) also had stellar Senior Day performances with 3-0 sweeps in their respective matches. Aditya Chandani (No. 5), Alexander Arader (No. 6) and Noah Katzer (No. 8) continued the celebration as all three Diplomats defeated their respective opponents, 3-0.

No. 15 Franklin & Marshall now turns its attention to the College Squash Association Team Championships, starting on February 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
